About Us

Sri Om Inc. is a registered New Zealand charitable organisation formed, keeping in mind, the words of Jagatguru, Sri Om Adisakthiyendra Swamiji, “Humanity leads Divinity”. Sri Om Inc was formed in July 2006 to provide social services for the betterment of mankind.
Sri Om Inc. provides diverse community services including classes for cultural appreciation, support groups for families, yoga and meditation sessions to support well-being, and the annual cultural showcase. Additionally, we offer Devi's Voice, an e-magazine promoting positivity and healthy living, and host regular meditation and prayer sessions at Sriomdevi Dwaraka Cultural Centre in Auckland, fostering mental wellbeing, spiritual growth, unity, and community engagement among New Zealand's culturally and linguistically diverse population.

Bal Pravruthi (Kids Classes)
Since August 2021, Sri Om has conducted yoga classes aimed at encouraging healthy lifestyles among children, addressing issues such as stress, anxiety, and behavioural disorders.
Elderhood (Senior Day Centre)
Launched in 2023, this initiative focuses on enhancing the lives of seniors in New Zealand by providing culturally and linguistically tailored day centre programs.
Yoga & Meditation
In partnership with Prathama Yoga and Health, this initiative empowers people to embrace a balanced lifestyle, unlock inner strength and transform themselves.
Devi's Voice Magazine
A free electronic publication that promotes good values, a positive outlook on life, health tips, and guidance on leading a happy life.
Mental & Spiritual Wellbeing
Regular cultural sessions are held at the Sriomdevi Dwaraka Culture Centre in Auckland, fostering spiritual well-being and community unity.
Cultural Showcases
An annual event since 2006, this initiative provides a platform for individuals to showcase their talents, promoting cultural diversity and community engagement.

Sriom Adisakthiyendra Swamigal

Chairperson
Sriom Adisakthiyendra Swamigal, also known by many as Devima, established the core principles of Sri Om as an organisation in the early 1990s. Based on his principle of ‘HUMANITY LEADS DIVINITY’ he initiated many social activities like feeding the poor, educating children, elderly care, medical care, and animal care (Goshala) in India. Swamiji has delivered countless community initiatives around the world such as Sri Om Care in Australia which provides aged care and support services for over 500 seniors and Sri Om Inc in NZ.

Sriom Gnanasakthiyendra Swamigal

President
Sriom Gnanasakthiyendra Swamigal is the current Peedathipathi of the mother organisation Sriom Adisakthi Ashram in India. As per the constitution of Sri Om Inc, the Peedathipathi assumes leadership of all the initiatives under Sri Om globally. He is the current President of Sri Om Inc NZ and Sri Om Care Australia, leading a team of dedicated members to deliver impactful programs aligned with his Guru Sriom Adisakthiyendra Swamigal's teachings.
