Early Days
An adoring talented boy, Suresh Babu was born as a second child in a family at Kancheepuram, Tamilnadu, India on March 12th, 1968. A disciplined family which valued Gurus and Saints has brought the young science graduate to meet Swamiji in his early 20’s. From his childhood he was an unquenchable reader and had staunch fondness towards Tamil language. He was having unbearable headaches for quite some time. No treatment could cure his pain. He met Swamiji in a small hut, where the latter was staying in his early days of establishing the ashram. His healing touch with love and affection cured his headache..
After the sudden demise of his overly affectionate mother, he took solace in Swamiji’s love and affection and decided to dedicate his life to serve Swamiji. He took Sanyasam vows from Swamiji and was given the name Sriom Gnanasakthiyendra Swamigal.
